Privacy Policy and General Terms of service
Qallify Services AB, registered in Sweden with registration number 559314-9601, hereafter ”Qallify”, is the Service Provider responsible for bringing the calling services to you. The policies below are applicable to our website, app and our relationship with our customers.
Your Privacy: Qallify protects your privacy and your data. Qallify does not share, disclose, trade or sell any personally identifiable information collected online with other companies or organizations. If Qallify should, at any time, desire to share its customers’ personal or online transactional data with third parties, it will provide advance notification allowing its users the opportunity to prevent the company from providing their information to third parties.
Disclosure for legal purposes: While Qallify will use its best efforts to protect your privacy and personal information, we may be required by law or we may believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary: a) to defend our rights or property or those of our users; b) to comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates; c) or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, consolidation or sale of substantial assets. Improper conduct: We may also use your personal information to investigate and help prevent potentially unlawful activity or activity that threatens our service.
Choice: If you do not want to receive communications from Qallify and do not wish to remain a customer of Qallify, please send an email about it and we will delete your name and records from our databases as soon as legally possible.
Your Data
Personal information: Qallify may ask you for personally identifiable information such as your name, telephone number or email address. We use this information to help maintain accurate accounts and provide the services you have requested. Once you register to Qallify and sign in to our services, you are no longer anonymous to us. Any details that you provide to us are stored for use on future visits, as we do not want you to give us any information more than once. Personally identifiable information that we collect may be stored and processed in any country where Qallify or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities. Personally identifiable information may be combined with other information about your use of our sites in order to improve our services and products. Some examples of how we might use your personal information include: When an email is sent to us, we will use your email address in order to respond to your inquiry. We collect information that you volunteer to us on surveys, contests, and registration sites. We ask for your email address in order to communicate with you about your account and other Qallify related services and products. We may also contact you to offer new products and services, however if you do not want to receive this information, please go the section above titled ”Choice”.
Anonymous information: Qallify collects general information that does not personally identify you regarding your use of our sites and services (“Anonymous Information.â€) We may use this Anonymous Information in order to improve our services and products, evaluate our marketing efforts or make our site more useful to you.
Email addresses: Your email address will be stored just as securely as any other personal information that we have received from you. We will not pass on your email contact information to any organization beyond Qallify without your express permission. We will not send you unwanted email messages or junk mail, however our marketing and support departments may need to send you email messages regarding new services and products or regarding accounting or service matters. There may also be automatically generated emails regarding the status of your account.
Access: When you register to use any of our services and products, we will send you a confirmation of your registration indicating the personal information that was obtained from your registration. Your registration will be treated as consent to our using your personal and anonymous information in the manner described in this Policy.
Data review/update: You may review or update the available personally identifiable information that we have received from you online by contacting your local customer representative. To better safeguard your information, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections to your information on file.
Cookies: According to the Swedish law on electronic communication SFS 2003:389, valid from July 25 2003, all Swedish websites are obligated to inform its visitors on the use of cookies. Our services uses session cookies for them to work correctly. It is not possible to use a service without accepting cookies, since the services require an account and a login procedure. The cookies used are temporary, meaning that they are never stored on the users permanent storage area (hard drive etc). Instead, they are automatically deleted when the user closes his/her browser window. No personal information is stored in the cookies and it is not possible to derive any personal information from the cookies. The contents of the cookies or information about its owner is not logged on the server for time period longer than the validity of the login session.
Safeguards and Security
Our technology: The technology we employ ensures that your sensitive information is secure and protected from loss or misuse, from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction and from improper use. We will continue to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available. We store your sensitive information in secure operating environments that are not available to the general public. We have taken all necessary safeguards and security measures to protect your privacy, however, you recognize and accept that under the current technology, where Qallify Services AB sometimes uses technical protective security programs in conjunction with its services, Qallify Services AB, in no way whatsoever provides or implies an absolute warranty of security and protection to you.
Applicable Law and Confidentiality
The Qallify service is provided from a core network based in Sweden with its strict privacy laws for telecommunication services. Therefore, privacy and other laws of Sweden are applicable to the services provided regardless of where the service is consumed by the end user. Communication is encrypted between the user device (app or web browser) and the Qallify service gateway in Sweden. If the origin (A) or destination (B) phone number is not a Qallify phone number, the call will be routed between our core ite in Sweden and other telco operators globally just like any other international call in fixed or mobile networks. A call to/from a Qallify phone number and a non-Qallify phone number is thus with a comparable level of security as an ordinary phone call to/from Sweden.
Prices and valid destinations
Qallify strives for competitive international calling rates all over the world, regardless of where the Qallify user is calling from. Receiving calls on Qallify is free for the Qallify user (that calling party, if not a Qallify user, may pay a charge just like any other phone call to Sweden regardless of where the receiving party is in the world). A call will use a data connection using e.g. wifi or a cellular data connection as defined on the device. Corresponding charges, that may depend on data packages etc. are not included in the Qallify calling service fees if the SIM card is not provided by Qallify. Calls are compressed to a data rate that depends on the connection quality. Typical data rate is 10-50 kbps while a call is ongoing corresponding to approximately 6 Mbyte for a 20 min call.
The calling charges for the service are as published at qallify.com and may be changed from time to time while we strive to provide competitive international calling rates. For most destinations, prices decrease with time. However, if there are increased service prices for a certain destination with more than 50% in a 1 month period you will be notified by email or through the Qallify app. Qallify may also add prices for new number series, or block calls to known fraudulent/expensive numbers that come to our attention at any time. These blocked number series will normally not be published, but you may contact us if you suspect any legitimate number has been blocked for access by mistake.
Prices are inclusive of Swedish VAT, where applicable.
Cancellations and refunds
Your Qallify account will automatically be canceled in case automatic charging or manual credit top-up does not succeed when credits run out. You may be provided warning emails or messages to select a different payment method if charging fails.
The service must not be used for any other purpose than normal person-person and person-service phone calls. It is not allowed to use the service to automatically generate outgoing calls or scanning phone numbers.
If abnormal calling pattern is detected that seem to indicate what might be suspected to be fraudulent intent or other types of use that would be incompatible with use as normal phone calls, such as repeated or long calls to expensive destinations or automated calls to massive numbers of destinations the service may be paused while we verify such calls are legitimate calls. If the calls can not be shown to be legitimate calls the service will be cancelled. Note, however, that you should keep your phone safe and you are always responsible for the charges incurred by your account within the authorization limits or pre-payments made.
In case you wish to discontinue the Qallify service, your Qallify account can be cancelled at any time. Please allow up to 1 week for processing. Either by contacting us by the contact information on qallify.com, or by selecting cancel subscription on the home page or app, as applicable.
After cancellation, the assigned telephone number will be maintained in a dormant state (i.e. non-usable), until it is re-activated. Note that after cancellation, there is no guarantee you can get back the same phone number again.
Refunds of any payments to an account will normally not be made, except for cases Qallify has failed to provide the ordered and paid-for service.
